Hannan Foundation, in cooperation with Floka Association, organized the Audiobook Celebration on Monday, August 4, 2025, in the conference hall of the Teachers’ Syndicate building at the University of Latakia, with the attendance of more than 120 participants, including students, faculty members, and those interested in cultural and educational affairs.
The event aimed to honor the students who took part in the Audiobook Competition and to encourage them to develop the skill of active listening to cultural and educational content, fostering a spirit of self-learning and critical thinking.
During the ceremony, 20 students from the winning groups were recognized. The top three winners received financial prizes totaling USD 1,020, and the supervising team was also honored with symbolic rewards in appreciation of their efforts in organization and guidance.
The program included an introductory video about Hannan Foundation and Floka Association, highlights from the competition, the distribution of official invitation cards to university guests, including deans and vice presidents, and active student participation that reflected the youth’s passion for culture and learning.
In its address, Hannan Foundation emphasized that this initiative represents a new step in its mission to empower Syrian youth with leadership and knowledge skills, noting that investing in culture and learning is an investment in building people and shaping the future.
